Steven Horsford’s SB 352 passed out of the Assembly Government Affairs committee today. Although the City of North Las Vegas originally had some questions about the bill, the spokesperson for the city, Kimberly McDonald, said all those had been addressed in the revised version of the bill sent to the Assembly. Councilman Eliason spoke in favor. No one spoke in opposition. Kirkpatrick mentioned that she received some nasty emails from what she called "misinformed" citizens.
Next, the bill goes to the Assembly, which, given the Committee’s "do pass" decision, will pass, after which, it heads for the Governor’s office.
