Liar Flyer Day!

Ooo. Too bad most of it's redacted. Ooo. I got a mailbox full today!

Folks over at the RJ were wondering why they couldn’t get Buck’s campaign guru Dan Hart on the phone to comment on some story or other. Well, I suspect he was busy working late at the printing press cranking out a hit-piece flyer for the Buckster that proved Ms. Buck isn’t about to take the high road on this thing.

Just check out the the foldout flyer wherein she republishes every innuendo  from the KLAS piece and all that stuff the great anonymous “they” are saying about Robinson:

Beginning.
Middle.
End.

Not a thing about stuff that Bucko’s allegedly done for the City–just pure negative attack.

“B+” for Buck, for being such a dirty girl!

Robinson had two flyers ready for the occasion. In the first he raises the question about why Buck has decided not to take the high road. She COULD have left it to Dan Hart and the campaign goons to work Robinson over. She COULD have droned on about issues. However, Robinson’s flyer raises the reasonable question as to why her campaign doesn’t HAVE any issues.

You see, just like Mr. Robinson, she has avoided substantive issues like the plague.

I guess issues just don’t poll well in Nor’Town.

Oooo. Spreadin rumors and diggin up dirt!

Here’s the flyer:

Front.
Back.

Jim Gibbons: Goober Scandal I was about to give the flyer a “C” for the lame “tax and spend” crap. Since Robinson and Buck vote together over 99% of the time, if she’s a tax and spender, then so is he. However, I give it a “B” because on the other side it links Buck to Madoff, Cheney, and most important of all, Jim Gibbons. Of course, I’m a sucker for anything that makes fun of the Gube.

Um. You don’t suppose the crack Robinson campaign team KNOW that, do ya?

Robinson’s second flyer is a ho-hum affair, probably drafted many months ago. Unfortunately, it lists as accomplishments Robinson’s worst ideas, like his opposition to the waste water plant that will probably save Nor’Town money in the long run, and his tiresome tirade against “consultants.” Granted, throwing money at unnecessary consultants is foolish, but surely it doesn’t make sense to hire full time staff when you only need some narrow expertise for 6 months or a year.

Front.
Back.

So, “D-” for that one. Oh, okay, I’ll throw in some extra points for giving accurate citations on the flyer about the toilet thing. (See item 39,VN) I up it to a “D”.
