Tell State Senator John Lee to Support Domestic Partnerships

The Nevada State Senate voted recently to support a domestic partnership bill which would give gay couples essentially the same rights and responsibilities as married couples. (Sun,Sun)

John Lee Pushes Toll Roads, Atkinson Waffles

Nor’Town Nevada State Senator John Lee came out for toll roads at a meeting of the Governor’s Task Force on transportation Thursday. Fees could be over $10.00 a day or over a $100 a week.

Mayoral Hopefuls

I musta slept through this one, but the RJ reported awhile back that Nor’Town Councilmembers Shari Buck, Stephanie Smith, and William Robinson are all thinking about running for mayor, as is State Senator John Lee. (RJ) Buck will most likely be running as a Republican and Lee, Smith, and Robinson as Democrats.

We’re Number One

Nor’Town is number one in growth. (Sun) Mayor Mike must be ecstatic. Let’s drive a bulldozer over some bearpoppies to celebrate.
