BLM folk will be out and about next week soliciting comments on the draft of their Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the Upper Vegas Wash. This weeks’ events include: Grand opening of Rory Reid for Governor Las Vegas office, Tue, Feb 16 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, 4350 S. Arville Unit 26, Las Vegas NV 89103. Baby being the BLM supplemental environmental impact study DRAFT! The actual document is 2″ thick and having just received the hard copy this AM, I have not read every word. Nobody sends me nice letters like the one Jill Stephano, of the Protectors of Tule Springs, got from Councilperson Candidate Anita Wood. It's also nice to see an actual issue being discussed. The Mayor's race abandoned that idea way before Skippy stole the race.
