Check out Ralston's Pate to Pate that was supposed to be a Nor'Town Mayoral debate, but turned into a report on the FBI investigation of William Robinson. Robinson probably should have showed up. Buck shows up in full death stare. You've been warned. Oh, brother. Buck does her best to blow her current advantage. Check [...] Ooo. I got a mailbox full today! Folks over at the RJ were wondering why they couldn’t get Buck’s campaign guru Dan Hart on the phone to comment on some story or other. Well, I suspect he was busy working late at the printing press cranking out a hit-piece flyer for the Buckster that [...] Boy was I wrong when I wrote that mayor Mike Montandon was being nice to both mayoral candidates. Turns out, he doesn’t think you should bother to vote. So it seems when we read John L. Smith’s column in today’s RJ: “The race is over,” exiting Mayor Michael Montandon said with consummate confidence earlier this [...] So, George Knapp is reporting that mayoral wannabe William Robinson was subject to an investigation by the FBI for corruption. (KLAS) Yet, somehow, the investigation back in the 1990′s never surfaced until now. And, we learn charges were never filed. Well, one reason they may not have been filed was the evidence was insufficient to [...] This time the April Fool's joke is on us. Here's your chance to have a gander at the folks who own your favorite candidate! Check out the first round of campaign finance reports, showing up so conveniently after two weeks of early voting are already done and gone. Here's just a sample of the fun [...] Yep, it's about that time in the primary when I bring out the No Debates Dancing Chickenmen! Originally created when Jim Gibbons was running away from Dina Titus and avoiding debates, the No Debates Chickenmanwas resurrected during the 2007 council election when Shari Buck was nowhere to be found when it came time for [...] Woah. I bet kids in her class don't talk back to Ms. Smith. Teach struck back at William Robinson's mailer about the sewage plant wherein Mr. Robinson attacked Smith and Shari Buck for voting for Nor'Town's very own treatment facility. In a mailer showing up in a mailbox near you, Ms. Smith asks ever so [...] Or is that hermaplican? Councilwoman Shari Buck, perhaps under the advice of her crack campaign manager Dan Hart, has decided to run as a Democrat! At least that seems to be the gist of a flyer I got today, complete with a pic of Buck with notorious socialist and mad-dog, big gu'ment liberal [...] Flyers! Flyers! Mayorwannabes are sending out flyers! My absolute fave comes from William Robinson, who, desperate to separate himself from the other wannabes with whom he has generally voted in lockstep over the past decade or so, attacks Shari Buck and Stephanie Smith for their vote for the new treatment plant. Of course, the [...] Others have talking points, quick hits, or gleanettes. Nor'Towners are stuck with Sludge Cakes! A reader spotted the following note over on the Nevada State Democratic Party site from which we learn that Nor'Town Councilguy Robert Eliason and Clark County Commissioner and cowboy hat fetishist Tom Collins are supporting William Robinson's run for Mayor.
